Light, spacious loft room

We have a bright spacious double bedroom to rent in the loft of our family home in the Hollingdean/Five-ways area of Brighton.
We're an active, friendly family - three adults and occasionally our son stays during university holidays.

This is a vegetarian house. We are looking for a female lodger to add to the house dynamics.

The room is well furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk, bedside table, fridge, two armchairs and a TV.
Our house has one bathroom, one shower room, a shared kitchen/diner, limited access to the garden (often used as a space to build sculpture).

There is unrestricted free parking just outside the house.
Brighton centre is 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes cycle ride.
Buses 26 and 46 go into town from the bus stop at Five-ways which is 5 minutes walk.
The bus stop for the number 50 is five minutes walk round the corner.

This is a creative, relaxed house.
We are both artists and tutors who frequently work at home. Debbie is a life drawing tutor and David is an artist. Our daughter is a social worker, working mostly from home and our son visits and stays occasionally.
We enjoy our own space once at home but also enjoy a chat with a cup of tea.

We are looking for a friendly, independent person who is willing to help with household chores and who will mostly be out of the house during the day, either through their work or study. So this will suit someone who works or studies during regular daytime hours, rather than shift workers.
It would be ideal for a post-graduate or a working person.
Sorry no couples and females preferred.

The rent is £650 per month and includes all bills. A deposit of £350 is required, as well as tenancy and credit reference checks, and there is a rolling 6 month contract.
LGTBQIA+, Veggie friendly, however it's not suitable for couples, pets or UC/DSS.
