We are looking for a couple to fill our double room in our current maisonette. The property has a garden, private entrance and an open plan living space. It is in an amazing location with Brighton station and the lanes only a 5 minute walk away and only 10 minutes to walk to the beach and in the opposite direction Seven Dials.
We are looking for a couple to move in with our current lovely housemate Naomi. The rent is £450 each (£900 total for a couple) and bills are around £110 a month each for the three of us. It’s a perfect opportunity for a couple to have the space of a 1 bed with a garden, without paying a fortune (especially in this area). There’s built in wardrobes in the bedrooms, 2 large cupboards in the hallway, and 1 large cupboard in the living space, so a huge amount of storage! Most of the furniture and appliances will be staying in the living space, however the bedroom will be unfurnished.
Naomi is a hard working primary school teacher and so a chilled house during the week throughout term time is a must! My partner and myself have absolutely loved living with Naomi for the last couple of years and the only reason we are leaving this amazing property is because we are buying a place of our own.
We have a very approachable and helpful private landlord who has been very quick at getting things fixed (not that much has gone wrong over the time we have been living here). The neighbours are friendly and the street is kept very clean. I have been working mostly from home during lockdown and it is a very nice space to be productive in, especially when you can pop into the garden whenever you want.
The place is available from 1st September, although this could be made slightly earlier if it needs to be. If you would like to view the property give me a message and we can arrange a date/ time.
