Small double near the Level

I have a small double room going in my place near the Level.

The room
Comes partially furnished with a small double bed, a mattress, and a clothes rail. Rent is £415 p/m and bills roughly £90. Available from mid-November.

Rest of the house
We’re lucky to have a large bathroom, and a communal living/kitchen downstairs. The garden is a proper sun trap, perfect for socialising in the summer.

Location
Location-wise there’s quick access to London rd for Aldi, the gym etc. or 20 mins to the South Laines. Takes only 15 mins to reach the train station. Parking zone J if you have a car (don’t believe there’s a waiting list at the moment).

Bit about us
We’re a nice bunch! Lydia’s a hairdresser in town and I work in PR. I work from home part-time (but have a desk in my bedroom, so I’m mostly in there). If you needed to WFH too you would have free reign of the living and kitchen space most of the time during the week. There’s space for a small desk in the room too.

We each do our own thing, but also hang out as a house now and again. Weeknights often spent vegging in front of the TV, and we try to do a house meal a couple of times a month. Other interests include live music, pubs, cinema, food... (pre-CV times). You’d be more than welcome to have people over for dinner etc.

I’ve lived in Brighton for just under a decade, and rented many places here from shitty letting agents, so as a live-in landlord I’ve made a real effort to make the space as cosy and welcoming as possible, and be flexible as needed.

Ultimately just want someone fun, friendly and cleanly to join us. I’m afraid no couples or pets (though I love furry friends) for now.
