Seven Dials area flat share

Hi, we are 2 young professionals (27 M and 25 F), both working in the public sector, looking for a new housemate to join us in our Brighton maisonette flatshare.

Our housemates moving out are a couple who have been renting 2 bedrooms to use one as a separate home office space, but are now looking to rent a single room to save money.

We are both friendly and laid-back housemates, with a pet peeve for passive-aggressiveness! That said, we do like to keep a tidy and clean house. In non-covid times we both have a busy social life outside the flat, but still enjoy coming together for meals, drinks, evening hangouts and nights out (when we’re able to again).

This flat is our home, and we have both been here for a few years now. We are looking to sign a new 12-month contract with our landlord on the 22nd April, and therefore we are not looking for anyone short-term. We are ideally looking for housemates within our age bracket (approx. 22-30) and in full-time employment.

The flat is located on a quiet road close to both Seven Dials and Preston Circus/London Road, and has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, additional w/c, and a small lounge.

The room available is a double room, and unfurnished. The rent for the room is £375 per month plus bills and Council Tax.

Our monthly bill outlay is variable as not all of our bills are paid on a monthly schedule, but average out to about £50 per month. However if it is important to you to budget a set amount monthly towards bills, we can work this amount out. We also maintain a splitwise for expenses on shared household items- toilet roll, bin bags etc.

The deposit is a months rent (£375) and a reference will be required for the landlord.
