Description
Hi,
We're looking for a new housemate to share a three bedroom bungalow in Hollingdean.
I’m Andy, I have a busy job as Production Manager at an exhibitions company. I'm pretty busy at work, so apologies if I don't reply straight away. I seem to always have something to do and generally don't sit still for too long, I love riding bikes and tinkering in the garage. Happy to have a bit of a chat and a catch up when people are around, but also like to disappear and de-compress after a busy day. I'm pretty 'normal', no dramas, just ticking along doing my thing.
You'll also be sharing with Nat. She works locally and is very easy to get on with. She's the owner of a very chilled out little staffie called Maggie, (hence no more pets I'm afraid), so you would have to be ok with dogs!
We're in a decent sized bungalow with plenty of living space. There's a big bright lounge/diner with a couple of nice comfy sofas and Virgin TV / broadband. The kitchen has a dishwasher (lifesaver), bathroom (bath and shower), and there's gas central heating. There’s a fairly private garden out the back with a greenhouse which you're very welcome to make use of. It's a nice quiet road with amazing panoramic views looking East, over Hanover and Bevendean right up to the racecourse and Woodingdean. We get to see some amazing sunrises here, and you can see the sea too!
We’re also well situated for public transport. Just 3 minutes down the hill is Moulsecombe train station, and Lewes Road bus stops a couple of minutes further by the University. If you’re keen to walk, it’s about 20 mins to the Laines, and half hour or so to get right into town. There is a local shop 5 mins away, and Sainsburys 10 mins (walking). And if you do have a car, it’s also still a free parking area!
Your bedroom has a view out to the back garden, and has a double bed with storage underneath and a small chest of drawers. There is also space in the entrance hall for more shoes and coats if needs be, and there is loft storage for any big things such as suitcases.
We keep the place clean and tidy, and would expect anyone new to be similarly respectful.. We don't have a rota as such, but please be clean and tidy, and respectfully quiet after dark. We have an early routine, up at 6 ish, so this is not the right place for night owls or late shift workers, sorry.
Get in touch if this sounds like your kind of thing. Looking forward to meeting you…. :)
