Large double bedroom in a modern 2 bed apartment available immediately 50m from East Brighton Park. The bedroom is very spacious and has a huge built in wardrobe as well as large draws under the bed, a large desk with shelving above it and a full length mirror. The bathroom has superb powerful shower and the toilet is in a separate room. Fully equipped kitchen with top of the range washing machine and cooker. There is also a tumble dryer in the hallway cupboard. There are luxury deep pile carpets throughout the property and new velvet sofa. The living room is very large and would genuinely be a shared space.. I go out 4 or 5 evenings a week so you would find that you would have the place to yourself most of the time from 8pm onwards. I am looking for a flatmate rather than a lodger though who would be keen to do some things together socially such as joint meals, watching tv/films and maybe going out to pubs/bars.
Visitor parking is available and you can apply to get a permit for on street parking (required from 9am to 8pm) but free after 8pm. Bus routes are excellent to the City Centre (16 per hour), Train Station, Marina and Universities and the night bus stops 2 mins away.
Some contribution towards bills will be needed but I will only charge you the amount my bills increase by having you live here - heating for example will effectively be free for you as I would be heating the property anyway. My previous flatmate paid £40 per month for utilities and £50 per month towards council tax - so it will be a max of £90 per month.
The property would genuinely be a typical 50:50 flat share and, as I am out most evenings, there would be plenty of opportunities for you to entertain guests. However I wouldn't really want a partner visiting or staying overnight on a regular basis..
