Description

A large spacious bedroom, 3.65m x 3.05m with single bed. (For occasional guests, you can pull out the 2nd bed which is stored underneath). Table/desk and chair.

Very important: We are looking for someone who does not work from home and does not work late shifts.

Very important: It's a very quiet, tidy house, kitchen always kept clean - so that needs to be what you want too. We are LGBTQIA+ friendly home. You'll preferably be a vegetarian, and definitely a non-smoker and non-vaper.

Great view from the bedroom over garden and the hills. Total privacy in your room (no neighbours opposite your bedroom window for about a mile!).

This room has just been completely redecorated with a new blackout blind. Very clean.

Lots of storage - drawers, shelves and wardrobe. Three mirrors, including a long one.

Be aware that the train track runs at the back of the house. You will hear it from your bedroom, but we don't find it particularly disturbing.

In lovely, clean, well maintained house.

All bedding and towels provided.

You'll be sharing the house with 2 other people - myself (I am the house owner) and 1 other lodger.

The 2 lodgers share a bathroom (pictured), a bright airy bathroom that has shower, bath and WC. I have my own private bathroom (not pictured).

It's a 3-storey house, with a long, beautiful garden and 2 outdoor patios with garden furniture. Great views from the back of the house, over the valley. East-facing so you see sun and moon rise over the horizon.

Bright, sunny, open-plan kitchen/dining room with large glass patio doors opening onto a terrace and amazing view. Stairs down to garden and another terrace.

Newly refitted kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, gas cooker, fridge/freezer.

Whole house pleasantly decorated. Central heating, cosy beautiful house.

It's a quiet, very friendly household.

We will need to trust that each one of us takes precautions not to bring COVID-19 into the house and that we take the health risks seriously.

Clean house (cleaner comes once a fortnight to clean the shared living areas). Window cleaner comes regularly.

Close to 2 parks – Dyke Road Park and Preston Park.

5 minutes from Preston Park train station and bus routes into town. 5 minutes from fashionable Seven Dials. A 15-minute walk to city centre and Brighton train station. A 20-minute walk to beaches.

24/7 Tesco up the road.

I comply with Gas Safety Regulations and have my gas boiler inspected and serviced by a Gas Safe registered engineer every year.

I have hardwired smoke alarms installed throughout the house. These are interconnected, meaning if one smoke alarm is activated, it will engage all the other alarms.
