Description
Single occupancy. Female. 20 to 40 years
Available mid November
Household will consist of 3 female lodgers aged between 20 and 40 years plus the owners (husband & wife) and their 3 sweet cats.
The room available is a bright room on the top floor of a spacious 3 storey house, overlooking gardens and trees.
Currently the room has a comfortable 3ft (91cm) bed, built across a stairwell and beneath velux window. (Good for stargazing) That bed will remain but a second bed can be added to the room after some modifications have taken place when our current lodger moves out
There is plenty of storage along one wall which will include ample hanging rails. Those cupboards are out of shot but are on the wall behind the hanging rail shown in the photo.
There is a large desk with roomy drawer space which is next to a window looking to gardens. There is also a second drawer unit plus shelving.
The main bathroom is on the first floor with a shower over bath and additionally there is a shower room on the ground floor.
Shared rooms include a dining room, lounge, garden room, very spacious kitchen breakfast room with access to a large balcony. There are garden views from all windows. The first floor landing has access door to a roof terrace with far reaching views, including to the South Downs national park. The attractive rear garden has seating and outside tables.
This family home had always been shared with international students/young professionals who appreciate clean, bright and comfortable spaces.
The atmosphere is warm and friendly and we welcome thoughtful, caring people who are looking for a calm, safe and real home to come back to after a busy day.
We have 3 sweet cats so this home is particularly open to those who enjoy living with pets. Several visitors have developed an understanding and love for cats whilst staying here and gone on to adopt their own cat in the future.
Regular buses run within 2 minutes of the house to town, universities and seafront. Approximately 25 minutes journey by bus. Local amenities include, pubs, cafes, restaurants, local shops and large supermarkets, green open spaces. All local to house.
Parking is free on the street or possible on our drive. There is an outside area where a bicycle can be locked out of sight from the street or possibly in a shed but that is at end of the rear garden.
Happy to answer any questions.
