Clean, mould-free and decently sized double room on the top floor. It has hard wood floors with two built in wardrobes with a double bed frame (with new comfy mattress).
The room has a great view of the city and decent Wi-Fi signal.
HOUSE:
There’s a big basement living room / kitchen with plenty of storage. Comes with a comfy couch, TV, Apple TV etc.
The kitchen has loads of cupboard space and a low energy washing machine / tumble dryer too.
The bathroom has a walk in rainforest shower (with a unit to control the exact temperature and pressure), as well as a bath and plenty of storage.
There’s also a well kept, decent sized patio garden with tables and chairs.
We’ve rarely had problems with mould and the house is well insulated so it’s not too cold in the winter either.
LOCATION:
The house is on Jersey Street about half way up the Hanover hill (not too knackering to climb).
It’s less than 5 mins from the North Lanes and 8 mins to Brighton Station. There’s a nice chippy, Chinese and corner shop on the end of the road too.
Parking is permit only (Zone V)
HOUSEMATES:
Sharing with Max (27 / working as an artist manager for metal bands) and Anthony (29 / masters computer science student).
Both pretty social, going out to gigs, pubs and gym regularly.
PRICE:
Rent is £575pm
Bills (electric, gas, internet and council tax) come to around £140 all in.
Total: £715 per month (bills should be slightly cheaper in the summer)
Deposit: £575 + 1 months rent in advance
Move in date is anytime from now (18th Oct)

New housemate preferences:
- Open to anyone aged 23-29 of any race, gender / orientation
- Smoking’s fine but in the garden only
- Neither of us are vegan / veggie but are respectful if you are
- Prefer a social person with a decent routine who likes gigs, pub / clubs etc and who’s clean and respectful
- No pets (really, really sorry…landlord won’t allow it)
- We’d prefer professionals but are open to students (as long as you’re happy to pay your share in council tax)
