Description
One huge room available in a beautiful flat near to 7 dials, sharing with 2 others and one dog.
Our lovely housemate is sadly moving on, so her room will be available from 1st August.
It’s a beautiful first floor flat, with high ceilings and huge windows throughout, filling the space with beautiful natural light at all times of day.
The room itself is spacious with plenty of in-built storage and gets lots of morning sun. You have a view of our little patio area and there’s space to work from home if required.
The kitchen has a new oven with gas hob and small built in fridge freezer. We have a separate toilet and bathroom with full sized bathtub and great shower. There is a small utilities area with washing machine and space to dry clothes. The lounge is spacious with a real working fireplace so it’s super cosy in the winter ☺️
We have a small patio area which needs a little bit of love, but does make a nice sheltered sun trap in the summer.
The flat is unfurnished, so if you have your own furniture it’s definitely a bonus, though we have most of the communal bits already.
Around the home, we’re tidy, respectful and expect the same of others. We would like to get to know you and chill in the evening together at home or out at the beach/pub from time to time but each have our own stuff going on, so happy for you to be an independent soul too! We’re very much past the party stage of life so just looking for a friendly, relaxed person to enjoy the space and not be strangers in our home.
About us:
We’re Amy, Lilly and Otto. I (Amy) am 33 and work as a social prescriber for a local charity. Lilly is 27 and works in sales for a tech company. We both work from home most of the week.
Outside of the house, I love practicing aerial circus, paddleboarding and taking Otto on nice big walks. Lilly enjoys travelling, getting down to the beach for BBQ’s and visiting friends. We’re both little beach bums at heart!
Otto is my beloved rescue dog, so it’s really important for me to find a new housemate who actively wants to live with a dog, can accept his quirks and is happy to engage with him.
About Otto:
He’s a goofy mid-sized Bosnian rescue dog, largely Spaniel-ish but likely a bit of a mix.
He loves people and you’ll find him snoozing in a sunny spot or begging (politely) for scraps. He thinks that auntie Lils gives the best head massages and is keen to know what special skills you have to bring to the household!
He‘s generally quiet around the home, but does burst into howling from time to time, so it’s important that you’re aware of this. He just needs a little love and will settle right down again.
This is by far the best place I’ve lived in Brighton and I would absolutely love to find a lovely new person to share this place with!
Location wise, we’re a 5 minute walk from Seven Dials and there is a pub, corner shop and cafe just around the corner from the flat. It takes about 15 minutes to walk down to Brighton Station. Parking wise we’re in permit zone Q, so there is no wait list for a parking permit. It’s a lovely neighbourhood and our neighbours within the building are really lovely and friendly.
Bills are usually around 150pcm per person for council tax, gas, electricity, water and Wi-Fi.
