I have found a DREAM house in Brighton, and I'm looking for 3 people to join me in this beautiful, high-spec, fully-furnished, creative house-share from October 1st 2023 - 31st August 2024.

THE VISION
I want to bring together a group of wonderful, kind, creative humans for a year-long co-living/co-working/co-creating experiment.

I envisage…

🥗Cooking and eating nourishing food together; rotating responsibilities
✍️Inviting friends over for creative days of making and writing
🌊Jogging down to the beach for a morning dip in the sea (13 mins walk)
🍷There will be long evenings drinking wine on the patio and talking about life
🥳There will be dinner parties to celebrate our wins
🎹There will be days of musical joy
👥We will support each other and have honest conversations when things come up
🛁Away from the creative buzz, we’ll also have space to retreat and recharge…

THE HOUSE
I can’t tell you how beautiful this house is - it’s INCREDIBLE.
Alena, the landlady, is an interior designer and garden landscaper, so she’s put thought and love into every corner of the house. The house comes fully furnished down to every
last cup and saucer. I want to stress that this house is HIGH-SPEC and the cost of the rooms reflect that. I’m also seeing that this space doubles up as co-working, events space
and rehearsal space for us all.

AREA
It’s in the sought-after area of Hanover, which is a gorgeous area - full of pubs + cafés, and it’s a stone’s throw from Queen’s Park.

DOWNSTAIRS
The main space is a big open plan living room / dining room / kitchen leading onto a mediterranean patio.

BEDROOMS
There are 4 bedrooms in total, and 1 is still available.

The Penthouse has a double bed, an en-suite with a free standing bath, views of the sea and daily sunsets, flat screen TV and walk in wardrobe.


THIS HOUSE IS FOR YOU IF...
● Reading the advert so far has made you go HELL YEAH!
● You’re craving the feeling of chosen-family and community in your home
● You want to live in a house that’s high spec and luxury, not falling apart
● You are excited by the idea of spontaneous music sessions and would contribute to these with gusto
● You love cooking but would be relieved not to have to do it EVERY meal
● You’d love living 13 minutes walk from the seafront (maybe you’re a keen open water swimmer like me)
● You love getting stuck into creative projects and the big wooden table of creativity would be a DREAM SCENARIO for you
● You are sociable and enjoy deep chats over a cuppa
● You like the idea of the house also being used for events (obviously to be agreed by everyone) but this would feel exciting rather than intrusive
● Maybe you love hosting events yourself and would enjoy using the house for intentional gatherings
● You like the idea of it being a place where friends can stay when they’re in town, or shorter term housemates who want a break from the big smoke
● You like cats (I don’t have one yet, but hoping to)
● You don’t have any furniture / much stuff - so the idea of being in a fully furnished house is a big plus.

THIS HOUSE IS PROBABLY NOT FOR YOU IF:
● You need a lot of quiet and silence in communal spaces
● You want something budget
● You are seeing the house just as a room, rather than a place to build community
● You have a full time 9-5 so wouldn’t make the most of it also being a workspace
● You have a lot of furniture / belongings (the house is fully furnished and there is not much storage beyond the bedrooms)

About me (Sarah):
I’m 38, originally from Devon, but have lived in London on and off since 2008. I’m a musician (play piano, ukulele and sing), and regularly bring people together to make
music. In my work I support people to reconnect to joy + creativity through workshops and coaching. I work a lot with Senior Leaders in schools helping them not leave the
profession. I love festivals, hiking, sea swimming and long chats :)

LOGISTICS
● Rooms are available from 1st October
●Viewings will be on afternoon /eve of Wednesday 30th August and morning of Thursday 31st August
● I have the house for a year, and I’d like people to commit to a room for at least 6 months. You’d be able to sublet rooms if you need to go away during that time/leave earlier, but would be responsible for covering the rent. I’m looking for
people who want to build something together, and also understand that plans change and people sometimes have to go somewhere for a month - so am building in that flexibility.
● I’m keen to find the right people so if you are a hell yes to this house, but something in the logistics is not working for you, get in touch anyway!
● Please note bills not included - approx £100 pp each month.
