Hey everyone!
Both me and my flatmate are moving out of our current flat and are looking for two people (or a solo person looking for their own place) to take over. If two people, ideally you already have someone in mind to move into the flat with as we won't be doing get-to-know-each-other interviews and will be offering the rooms on a first-come, first-served basis.
The flat is a 2-bed in central Brighton, overlooking Victoria Gardens, just across the road from the Royal Pavillion, a 5 min walk to the Laines and the seafront.
There's really good natural light throughout the flat, the living room is a good size with a little archway to a small kitchen, there's a bath/shower, and a private storage area, The bedrooms are big enough for a double bed and some furniture.
Some need to knows:
• The flat is available to move into any time between 5th January and 20th January, however, the contract with the landlord would be signed to officially start on 20th January.
• The flat is UNFURNISHED however I would be happy to sell my sofa/sofa bed, fridge freezer and washing machine to you for £200. Otherwise I'll be chucking them on FB marketplace to sell.
• Total rent for the flat is £1100 (excluding bills). If two people move in, it's up to you how you split this. As one of the bedrooms is bigger, my current flatmate and I are splitting it £525/£575.
• Bills come to about £175 per month EACH and include council tax (band B), gas and electricity, water, and broadband.
• The plasterboard on one of the small walls in the living room (pictured by the TV) has recently been taken down before the agency can conduct some structural work, so it is now exposed brick.
• Accessibility: The flat is up 4 flights of stairs and there's no lift.
• Noise: The bedroom at the front of the flat overlooks the main road and we have single glazing so it can be a lil noisy at times unfortunately.
