Nice Double Room Preston Circus

Greetings!

We have a lovely double room available in our 4 bed home. Ages 25-45 considered.


The house is on a centrally located but quiet road. Right by Preston Circus, so conveniently not on a hill! Supermarkets, train station and Preston park all within 10 minutes walk. The communal areas comprise of a large open plan kitchen with gas hobs, shared living/dining area, a peaceful garden, laundry room with tumble dryer, and a bathroom with a bath.

The room itself is east facing, overlooking the garden and shaded by trees which give lots of privacy. Bills including council tax come in at around £120 per person per month, so ~£665 all in. The let runs till August 2025.

We are all final year/postgrad students studying international development. With this comes a lively shared interest in global affairs and sustainability amongst many other interests.

The house is a relaxed and friendly vibe. It can be quiet here at times, as we are often out visiting friends or staying at our respective partners' places. When home, we enjoy catching up with each other in the kitchen, and cooking delicious meals together when we have time. We are not a party house but enjoy a nice glass of wine over food or a pint at the pub. Two of us collect vinyl records, and very occasionally play/mix them during sociable hours. Genres range from roots and dub to jungle and techno. The house is suitably multicultural, with Mexico, Namibia/Italy and Manchester represented! We are also a neurodiverse and queer friendly house.
