Description
We are three working professionals with a spare double room with built in storage space.
We are looking for another working professional to share a spacious house with conservatory and garden.
The house is up a steep (but short) hill a few minutes walk from Lewis Road Bus Garage so public transport is frequent and close but it might not be suitable for someone with a physical disability if they don't have their own transport.
On-street parking is available upon application to the council.
Sainsbury's is a few minutes walk down the hill and Moulsecoomb railway station is a 19 minute walk or 6 minute cycle if you have a folding bike for commuting to London etc. Brighton town centre is a 10-15 minute bus ride away.
The house is fully furnished with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, one small fridge in the kitchen and another large fridge/freezer in the conservatory, large TV with Prime video, Disney+ and Netflix.
We have a nice living room, two toilets/bathroom, a bright and spacious conservatory and a large back garden.
We are an LGBTQ+ friendly household. Two of us are musicians, but we keep practice discreet. We are all busy with our individual lives but we are a friendly bunch and catch up now and again in the evenings/weekends. We keep noise to a minimum and expect the same except when we have the occasional birthday/garden party etc. upon agreement of all.
We like to live in a clean environment and expect someone who will take joint responsibility for maintaining our home.
Bills are separate. Energy, internet and council tax are around £120 per person (to be paid in advance upon moving in) and water is payable every 3 months. As we pay a fixed monthly estimate on energy bills, there will be an occasional additional payment required or returned depending on actual energy usage. Same upon moving out.
We are looking for a minimum 6 month commitment. The landlord occasionally increases the rent, usually by about £15. They are reasonable and this is infrequent. Bills will most likely increase given the corruption of our political/economic system, private utility suppliers and regulators. (Just a heads up regarding our political leanings).
If you’d like to come and meet us and view the house then please message us a little bit about yourself and we can make arrangements for a viewing.
We look forward to hearing from you!
