Galley kitchen & bathroom
New flatmate wanted : with 9-5 occupation preferred & preferably a
woman aged 26 - 43 who is as considerate to others as they are to her and who shares the housework.
Brunswick is a popular area with
good bars & restaurants & with
supermarkets close by. Buses on
Western Rd, a few minutes walk
south, give easy contact to the rest of
town.
The rooms are usually peaceful & quiet , double Approx. 10.8 sq metres. £ 650 per month if resident for 6 months or more Short-term may be possible - rent negotiable. Small single £485 What it lacks in floor space, it makes up for in storage space, it has more storage space than a lot of double rooms. Has 3 drawer desk and office chair etc Skylight window The damage protection deposit is £400, refundable at end of tenancy if there is no damage apart from normal wear.
Residents must be non-smokers,
clean & be considerate to others. Preferably female. The flat has potentially 3 flatmates Currently there is 1 : a woman who gets on well with everyone , a Chinese recruitment manager who has been resident for about 2 years, The landlady sometimes stays Work and social commitments of the other residents
may mean that any resident will be on their own for periods of time. This is not guaranteed but it is probable & so it is unlikely to suit anyone new to
town and relying on flatmates for company. It is a top-floor flat so applicants need to be able to cope with stairs, but top floor means usually quiter & warmer in winter.
There are skylights which when open can make it cooler in summer than lower floors. Bills are paid by landlady, Previous excessive bills
mean the central heating will be off Monday to Friday between 9 - 5. So it is unsuitable for working from home except at weekends. Both rooms have single bed. Mattress topper & mattress protector supplied by landlady (all other bedding to be supplied by resident.) New residents must be considerate people & it is essential that they either share the housework or pay someone else to do it for them.
It's not the right place for any free-rider who leaves their dirty dishes in the sink or rarely or never does any housework. The house is 200 years old, the floor is uneven, the
floorboards sometimes creak but it's still a good place to live. Unfortunately time for viewings is
limited so if you are interested in
living with us, please ensure that you write explaining that you fit the profile.: sociable but don't mind being alone, clean up after yourself and share the housework. Non-smoker, understand the heating is on a timer & off Monday - Friday 9-5. Preferably a woman 26-43. If the flat is listed then it is available so unfortunately, there will not be time to answer all those who ask if it is. If it is listed, it's available.
I hope you find the right place soon.
