Description
We are looking for someone to join us in a four bedroom house in the New England Quarter, just down from the taxi rank at Brighton Station, a minute’s walk to Sainsbury’s and Aldi, and the pubs, cafes and shops of North Laine just to the south.
The house is nicely decorated and the shared spaces are all furnished, and has a garden and roof terrace. There’s no smoking inside the house but we do smoke outside. There are several loos, so you’ll never get caught short.
You’ll be living with an early-50s gay man, mid-40s straight woman and late-20s person along with a small quiet dog who can be a bit silly but is lovely. She’s a bichon cross, so seems to be hypoallergenic. We’d prefer a woman or gay man 30s or older as we think that would fit best with our household but happy to consider anyone who fits that vibe.
You would get the double room on the first floor plus you also get a bright office/studio/library space at one end of the open top floor lined with windows and adjacent to the roof terrace. The two rooms are unfurnished but willing to sell bed and dresser, etc.
The tenancy would start on 1 April but there may be the possibility of moving in a couple of weeks earlier (to be confirmed).
Council tax band F.
If your salary is below 21k or you are on benefits, the landlord will ask for a UK guarantor.
If that sounds good, let me know asap. We are hoping to find someone before the end of the weekend so that we can get going with the referencing process.
