4 month+ double room near Preston park

A double sunny room available in our quiet house near Preston Park. We are me (Joelle is my official name but I'm currently going by Jay, 30, student, any pronouns) and Tabby (37, professional, she/her) and we have a room newly available in our lovely quiet house. We are both neurodiverse and creative.

Most bills are included, it will be likely £10-30 on top per month during the summer months. We have a parking space that we rent out to help us fund our bills, and during summer we have more renters so more of the bills are covered. We'll let you know each month how much it'll be, but won't be too much.

I am vegan, and Tabby cooks veggie meals as we prefer no meat cooked in the house. We're both members of the LGBTQ community and highly value communication. We are a judgement free household and we had a peaceful time with honest and strong communication and respect. We also value eco-friendly people, and have a little system of recycling (there's a tetrapack recycling nearby, and we collect all the "recycle at large supermarkets" plastics to recycle too). We prefer eco products and have a large tub of Ecover washing up liquid that we refill from.

We are both very friendly people, if somewhat introverted, and would love to welcome you into our home. Pets are ok, unfortunately I just lost my own sweet cat so I'm currently going through a period of grief, but I'd love a new furry face if you have one.

The room will be available until end of August at least, in which time our contract will be coming up to be renewed. Tabby is leaving, and I'm not fully decided yet but it's likely I will stay in the house, in which case we'll look for a 3rd housemate. If it doesn't work out between us during these 4 months then you're welcome to leave after that, we'll just have a conversation nearer the time to make sure we know how everyone feels.

We have a preference for working professionals or older people given we are in our 30s, but if you are younger but mature with good communication styles then it's no problem. I myself am a student at Brighton university (studying game art & design). I'm an artist on the side too.
