Suitable for single occupancy only. You will be sharing with a middle-aged couple & 9 year-old child (who live on a separate floor of the house). We both have hybrid jobs (data and hospitality consultancy) so one of us is often working from home. Please note this is a family home so if drugs and smoking are a part of your life, this is not the home for you. It's not a party house, but we like to socialise and have friends over for dinner and drinks from time to time.
Room rental of £775 excludes share of bills. These are an additional £150 per month on top (so total monthly cost is £925), which includes all bills - water, gas, electric, council tax, TV licence, very fast fibre-optic internet (300Mbs upload & download speeds) and a range of streaming services (Netflix, Amazon & Apple TV).
THE ROOM:
This is a huge room: 6 metres long x 4.4m wide, with tall ceilings and a Juliet balcony offering a fantastic view of the gardens at the back of Montpelier Crescent. Room is airy and light, combining period 1850s architecture with modern design touches and luxurious furnishings - including herringbone wood flooring with a soft rug, Heals three-seater sofa, Scandinavian office desk with a reading lamp & chair, wall-mounted TV, wood-burning stove and three-zone dimmable ceiling lighting.
