Available is a very large furnished room in a 2nd floor apartment close to Preston Park Station (4 min walk), bus stops are 30 secs away. The flat itself is in a quiet residential location, has free permit parking (I will have to register your vehicle with Sippi if you require the space as they don't do temporary permits here only Resident Permits), electric throughout (no gas), everything works as it should + a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom (+ bath) plus even a shared Tennis Court at the back for residents use.
Council tax is band B (if you want to be added to it then I can do and we would pay half each towards it). The room itself is furnished with a Kingsize bed, storage, a desk, exercise bike, mini fridge, a Smart 32" TV, built in wardrobe and bedside table. I live at the property and I work full time locally so am out the house all week and value relaxed evenings apart from the odd pub quiz and a fitness class!
Am looking for a tidy friendly person to come and join here, who works standard sort of hours as I do out of the house (ideally) but WFH is OK if the vibe is right :) My landlady would also like to meet any prospective new housemate just to check out how damn good you are I guess and then get you added to the Tenancy Agreement after checks etc 😁👍
There is 500+mb Virgin Broadband here, good coverage around the apartment, a Sainsburys and Costa (plus 2 pubs) and the park 8 mins walk away and Preston Park Station is 4 minutes walk away. The rent will be about half of what I'm paying (£700ish) and I would only ask for contribution towards the Electricity each week/month which is dependant on how much we would use, other utilities such as WiFi, Water, I will cover myself 👍
