Hey! I’m looking for a new roommate to split this lovely flat with as my current housemate is moving due to work. I’ve been living here for 18 months and am really happy here :)

The flat is on the ground floor, in a grade 2 building. It’s very spacious and brightly lit. It is officially unfurnished but already has everything needed in communal areas - living room, bathroom and kitchen. Only the available bedroom will be empty. We have a small private yard which gets the sun most of the summer where I grow herbs and other vegetables in my little greenhouse. We have the use of a small shed shared between 4 flats where you can store a bike. I have a sun lounger you’re welcome to use.

Smoking is strictly not allowed inside the flat but is fine in the yard. Pets are sadly not allowed (a rule of the building).

The location is ideal and is in a really beautiful area. 0.4 miles / 11 min walk from Brighton train station. Around 0.6 miles / 15 min walk to seafront. Closest shop 4 min walk (7 dials).

Bills include council tax, water, energy and wi-Fi and come in at around £150-70 per month each person. Netflix is an optional extra that I currently pay for.

I am an environmental professional who works from home 4 days a week, but I do go on a lot of trips with work so there are times you will have the place totally to yourself for multiple nights. I am from the North East so also spend extended periods of time there visiting my family.

I value a clean and tidy living space and clear communication with my housemates. I am a respectful and considerate person to live with and enjoy a good balance of alone time and socialising.

In my spare time I play on an Australian football team which brings with it lots of socialising! If you’re looking for a new community in Brighton I’d be happy to welcome you into the club, as it has changed my life. Other than that I enjoy sea swimming, going to the sauna, being in nature and going to gigs. I am very easy going and looking forward to making a new connection to live with.

I am looking to find someone ASAP as the date is fixed and new tenancy must start 16 March onwards. An earlier move in date can also be possible, as my current flatmate is moving out earlier than the 15th.

I’m doing viewings from 04 March as am currently out of town. :)
