Hi i’m Claire , i’m 37, friendly and outgoing female looking for a new flat mate to
share with from 24 May 2026 . My current flat mate is moving out and I need someone to talk over the room and tenancy from May onwards .
The room available for rent is a double ensuite, the ensuite has a shower, sink and toilet . I have my own bathroom .
The room comes furnished , with double bed and mattress , chest of draws and bedside cabinets.
The room available for rent over looks the marina, so you have lovely view of the water , boats, sunsets and resident swans :)
The living room is shared and flat is on the top floor so nice and quiet, there is also a balcony. The kitchen and my room has a lovely view of the under cliff walk and sea .
At the marina everything is on your door step , supermarket and cinema , walks and pubs , buses also go every 5 min into town, I usually get the number 7 and 1X.
About me :
I work as a full time dental nurse and I work 5 days a week 8.45-5.30pm Monday - Wednesday, 8.45-7.30pm thursday and Saturday 8.45-5.30pm . Im
off Fridays and Sundays . I like to come home in the evenings to relax in a quiet space, so i’m looking to share with another quiet professional. I am very friendly , and would love to be able to hang out from time to time when we both feel up to it. I’m LGBT and I socialise mainly outside the house , so i would appreciate a flat mate who does the same and that we can have the flat as a quiet shared space . I do have 2 small guinea pigs , they are super clean and quiet and self contained in the living room, they don’t take up much space .
The living room , kitchen and balcony will be shared, the living room has a smart tv and plenty of natural light .
My current flat mate is moving out at the end out tenancy and i’m looking for someone to move in on the 25.5.26 and sign a new 6 month tenancy . the landlord would like to start a new 6 month tenancy agreement starting from this date, so we can get the ball rolling this as soon as possible if you like the room and me of course .I have paid the deposit last year so I dont need any money for a deposit as it will just be transferred over to the new tenancy , I would only need to ask for a small contribution for cleaning fees at the end of the tenancy if needed or if anything is broken .
£995 per month covers the rent , bills and council tax . Rent is £825 and council tax is £125 each. I pay the water and wifi . Gas and electric is £45 each .
The kitchen has a washing machine and dishwasher, all modern, there is a shared fridge/freezer, the fridge is not that big, 2 small shelves each, but you could always get a small fridge for your room if needed . You would also have 2 kitchen cupboards and I have a kettle ect already .
Any new tenant will have to go through agency checks , such a proof of employment / income and the usual soft credit checks . Parking space if needed is available . The flat has a gated entrance and 24 hours security .
