ISO flatmate/s (dog welcome!): End of Sept for min

Hi all! My name is Emily, I’m 26 and live with my gorgeous dog Toby! He is my whole heart and unregretfully, my main personality trait. I work in energy but won't bore you. I like to define myself as friendly, respectful and easygoing. Ignore the FB I haven't used this in years!

The important bits:

Rent is £990 (excluding bills). The flat is 2 bed 1 bath. Located by St Peter’s Church- less than 10 minutes from Brighton Station, 5 minutes from supermarkets, 20 minutes from the seafront and at the foot of the North Lanes. Ideal location! There’s a bus stop a 5 minute walk away.

It’s a new build and C energy rating, very sound insulated. The flat is furnished with lots of storage- the room photos include everything pictured and everything in the living space/kitchen is included (happy to redecorate if you bring anything!). You don’t need to bring any kitchenware or appliances as you’re welcome to use mine!

The flat includes a dishwasher, a washing machine/drier, microwave and all standard white goods.

The rent comes with access to the 24hr building gym, roof terrace and workspace. The workspace can be booked out for meetings and the terrace can be booked for events (both free). There’s a 24hr concierge who manage postage and the whole team are so lovely!

The building often run activities such as fitness/craft that are super cute- it has a real community feel. The building is gated and super secure.

I am in two minds about renewing my tenancy beyond end of March 2026 (London is calling) so you’d have to commit to a minimum of 6 months and if I decide to leave and you’d like to stay, you’d be responsible for finding a replacement tenant.

A bit more about me:

I work full time, Mon- Fri, with 2 days WFH. I tend to have early nights in on weekdays and weekends consist of the occasional night out, nature walks, coffee/matcha and shopping. I love live music, stand up, art, cinema, fashion, food, travelling... I could go on. I'm a very passionate person! Current obsessions: The Summer I Turned Pretty and collectable trinkets.

I’m single, so won’t have guests that often (no one mooching off us paying the bills, fret not), but I like to occasionally host friends/family for typically no longer than a couple days. I also tend to visit home for a weekend/go away somewhere once a month so you’ll have the place to yourself!

I’m vegetarian and non-smoking (you don’t have to be either).

My dog is 3 years old, small/medium size and trained. Toby often feels uncomfortable with men at the beginning so something to note if you are a man/will have regular male guests (he tends to come around eventually).

Who am I looking for?:

I’m happy to live with someone from any background/lifestyle (as long as you’re also unprejudiced!!!). Ideally you’ll be around my age. Open to students!

Another big one is that you get on with Toby! If you also have a small/medium sized dog, they’re welcome to join. I’m open to couples also (this would involve a rent split adjustment).

I am looking for someone friendly, clean/tidy (I’m not OTT about this though), respectful and communicative. Ideally we’ll have a similar lifestyle but I’m not fussed as long as we are compatible in a living space.
