We have a room available in a lovely end-terrace maisonette in the Fiveways area. We occupy the top two floors of a three story house, and we have a good relationship with our downstairs neighbours. The flat has a large open plan kitchen-livingroom and 3 bathrooms (1 shower, 1 bath, 2 toilets). All windows in the house are double glazed and we have gas central heating making our house nice and warm and free from damp.
You will have the choice of two rooms. We are only taking on one tenant as the other room will function as a spare room for laundry and the occasional guest.
Room 1 is an attic room which is furnished with a small double bed and a built in wardrobe. It has a gorgeous view over Brighton.
Room 2 is a on the first floor and is furnished with a small double bed and a free standing wardrobe. It also looks out over Brighton.
Right outside our house is a Bus stop making transport into town easy and quick. We are also in walking distance from London Road Station and Preston Park Station.
Behind our house is the Hollingbury Golf Course which features beautiful woods which eventually connects to Wild Park and Standmer Park making a scenic place to go for long walks.
We are two friends looking for a woman/LGBT person who is a working professional to move in. Hannah works full time in an office whilst Laura is a trainee teacher. We like going to the cinema, going on walks and playing video games.
The room has become available as our friend has bought their own flat! This house would be the perfect place for someone looking for somewhere quieter to live. The Fiveways Area is much quieter than central Brighton and we dont tend to host parties or have lots of people over constantly. We have lived here for 2.5 years and not had any problems with our landlord. They respond to maintenance requests promptly and tend to leave us alone.
We like to keep our flat looking nice so have an informal cleaning rota for the communal areas. We also share the buying of communal supplies such as loo roll and cleaning products.
We are not looking for couples who wish to move in together and no students please! We don't have permission to have pets at this property.
