There are excellent communications from here: the train station is 2 minutes walk, with trains to Brighton central station taking 4 minutes, and trains to London about an hour. There are well served bus routes from the main road, a five minutes' walk. Most places are accessible on foot, including the London Road shops (20 minues), the lanes or the seafront (30 minutes). Sainsbury's local and Preston Park are a short walk. There's a selection of good pubs in the area too. Free street parking is a 10-minute walk away, and free weekend parking is available on the road.
The bedroom has a small wardrobe, additional hooks behind the door, a floor to ceiling cupboard, two bedside tables, a table and chair. I am flexible on furniture and you may prefer to have your own bedding. There's a view from the window and afternoon/evening sun.
The bathroom has a large bath and shower and a shelf for your things.
The kitchen dining room makes for a comfortable working space and is well appointed with fridge/freezer, microwave, cooker, external extractor, toaster, kettle, washing machine etc. and there is a rotary washing line/whirlygig on the patio.
I am a working professional. I like to keep shared areas clean and tidy but I'm not obsessive. I'm easy going and looking for someone who will feel at home and be considerate of shared spaces as I am. I am quite busy, but I would enjoy having a chat over a cuppa from time to time. I am environmentally conscious and like to grow food organically - spring is coming and I hope you will appreciate the patio and garden.
Extension beyond 6 months is possible. References and a deposit of one month's rent required. The £800/month is inclusive of all bills (reasonable use) and broadband.
