Description
Rent: £575 (excluding bills)
Bills can come up to £170 per month per person (depends on the energy usage). It's a well-insulated flat so less need to turn on the heating during winter. Security Deposit is £750 (£1500 in total for two tenants). Council Tax Band: B.
About the flat:
Located in a lovely, central area, the flat is just a 9-minute walk from Brighton train station. It's a modern-built flat with a gorgeous south-facing balcony that’s perfect for enjoying the spring and summer months. You’ll find grocery stores like Aldi, Sainsbury's, Co-Op, and Taj, as well as London Road charity shops, The Gym Group, and Pure Gym (for fitness enthusiasts) all within a 5-minute walk.
The room available is a single room, which I currently occupy. Once my flatmate moves out, I will be moving into her room. The room fits a double bed (you’ll need to bring your own) and comes half-furnished with a built-in closet. The flat is already well-furnished with cooking and home appliances, and it has additional small storage spaces and an open-plan living area and kitchen. I have been using the flat's space creatively to meet my needs and I am happy to find space solutions for your needs as well once you move in.
This is not a vegan/vegetarian household. My current flatmate is vegetarian, and I follow mostly a pescatarian diet, which has never been an issue. If you have concerns about cross-contamination or food allergies, I’m more than happy to discuss and find a solution together.
A bit about me:
I’m a 38-year-old female working professional at a research institute on the University of Sussex campus. My job is quite demanding, so I prefer a quiet, clean, and organized flat to unwind after work. My role allows for hybrid working, and I typically go into the office a couple of days a week. In my spare time, I enjoy watching Netflix, traveling, trying out new recipes, listening to music, and reading.
What I’m looking for:
To maintain a balanced house dynamic, I’m ideally looking for a female flatmate who is a single individual with a hybrid or in-person working arrangement. This helps to ensure a smoother living experience, with shared responsibilities and costs kept manageable.
If you value a peaceful living environment and are invested in creating and maintaining a 'home' rather than just a place to crash, please drop me a message telling me a bit about yourself, and we can arrange a viewing!
Best wishes,
Trina
