Description
Hiya,
We are looking for a lovely veggie/vegan-friendly, covid-conscious person to house share with. The rooms is available from 30 August 2020 and would be ideal for a mature student or home based worker.
In the house is me, Yvette and Rufus the dog. I'm a self-employed gardener and love being outdoors and active, and singing (badly) round the house. Yvette is a comedy theatre-maker, and also manages a team doing local community projects. She loves music, films, yoga, festivals etc. We are also both pretty good cooks. Rufus is pretty zen most of the time, but will steal your sandwiches in a heartbeat if you leave them within easy reach - you've been warned!
We like the house to be sociable and chilled so that we can enjoy communal space, as well as being comfortable and respectful of each other's personal space too. Keeping a nicely kept living environment is important, and other things that I've found work well are; housemates who like a chat, and a giggle, who are environmentally aware, and who participate in keeping their home tidy and clean. Having similar ways of living and interacting is more important to us than having shared interests. If you'd like to share a meal and hang out with each other from time to time too, that is double brilliant. The hope is that we won't drive each other mad if we end up being locked in together again!
The communal area is spacious and airy, and comprises an open plan lounge with log burner and a kitchen leading onto a little leafy garden; room to hang out without being on top of each other. The bedroom is on the ground floor and is a lovely light double, it has a double bed, a wardrobe, a desk and built in shelves.
The rent quoted includes all normal bills. The deposit is £450 and there are no agent fees or any other sneaky charges.
There's permit parking on the street.
The house is bright and spacious and is set high on the vibrant hill called Hanover. We have great local community vibes, lovely independent food shops and pubs, and town and the train station are about 15-20 mins walk away.
If this sounds like your cup of tea give me a call, it would be lovely to hear from you. Feel free to ring anytime between 9am and 9pm on any day of the week.
If for some reason you can't ring then send a bit of info about yourself and your number so that I can call you.
Warmest wishes, Gina :)
