Description
Hi, room in big house in quiet street near Seven Dials and 15 minutes walk to Brighton station. A park, great pubs, cafes, supermarkets and bus stops all within 3 minutes walk.
The room has a queen-size double bed, a desk, wardrobes, chest and shelves. It is on the top floor of a three floor house and has a view of the garden.
The house is large - the ground floor has two living rooms, a large and light kitchen/conservatory, which is where people tend to socialise, a utility room and a shower/toilet. There are two bedrooms on each of the other floors. There is a separate bathroom and toilet on the first floor. The house has a pretty but small-ish garden and has a hammock and space for bikes.
We'd like to find someone sociable to join the house (but note this is not a party house). The tenants do responsible jobs (academic, geologist, and public affairs). We are all well-travelled, have lots of hobbies, and, enjoy the cultural life of Brighton.
The house has great facilities, including NEF ovens, fridges, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, large freezer, widescreen tvs, dvd players, wifi (900MB BT fibre to the home) etc.
Please note that everyone is expected to keep an assigned common area clean. If that's not for you then this house is not the right one for you.
Parking permits can be obtained from the Council to park in the street outside the house.
The other useful bit of info is the size of bills, this is in addition to the £500 rent and they are shared between the four housemates. These are currently £182 a month each. The house is Council tax band F.
