Small furnished double room in friendly houseshare

I have a lovely small, light and airy double room to rent, fully furnished with double bed, wardrobe, desk and shelving units, available from April 2026 for a minimum of 6 months.

Located in the Coombe Road area of Brighton, our house is friendly, relaxed, with a large patio garden and permit street parking. There are excellent local amenities and bus routes, and around a 15 minute walk into town & the seafront.

I'm seeking a full-time working professional / mature student (Masters, PHD, final year) who is friendly, tidy, responsible and considerate, and happy to share the household chores!

I'm friendly and welcoming, and have successfully rented rooms in my house to many lovely people over the last few years, from 6 months to 3 years :-)

I'm a full-time working professional and as I mainly work from home, I'm looking for a housemate who will mostly be out of the house during the day, either through their work or study, although there is some flexibility. So this will suit someone who works or studies during regular daytime hours, rather than shift workers.

I enjoy friendly chats with my housemates, and I'm happy to have the occasional meal together when possible. And like myself, I'm looking for someone who prefers to socialise outside the house!

As I work away some of the time, this will suit someone who is happy to have the house to themselves, so the house is more suited to an independent person, rather than someone looking to spend time with their housemates on a regular basis.

The rent is £600 per month and includes all bills. A deposit of one month's rent is required, as well as tenancy credit reference checks & there is a rolling 6 month contract. LGTBQIA+ friendly, however it's not suitable for UC, couples, full time home workers or pets.
