Double Room With Optional English Lessons

Single occupancy only.
The room is only available until the last week in September as I am having building work done in the basement.
It would not suit anyone who spends a lot of time at home during the day.
Friendly relaxed and quiet house, sharing with live in landlady, and one other short term lodger, in Hanover a popular are of Brighton close to the sea, town centre, railway station, countryside and London. The house is comfortable and homely usually clean enough but tidiness is not my strong suit.

I live in a 3 story house, in Hanover up quite a steep hill. There are plenty of buses into to town centre and station. Both are about 20 minutes walk away. There are lots of small shops, pubs and cafes and a local park in the area. The double bedroom is on the ground floor at the front of the house. My room and spare room on first floor and the other lodger has a bedroom in the loft. The entrance hall and 2 bathrooms are on the ground floor. The kitchen and living room with open fire in the basement.
There is a small garden.

This is a calm, quiet environment, come and go as you please, but and we like the house to be quiet after 10 pm.
I have two bathrooms, one with a shower the other with a bath, both with toilets to avoid the morning scrum.
I have a washing machine, provide bedding and towels and have adaptors, hair drier, and other things to borrow ... just ask.

You will have unlimited access to the kitchen, with cooking facilities including fridge and space to put your food, bathrooms, washing machine, (no drier) wifi, the garden. You are welcome to use the living room and the television. I can provide bedding and towels.
