Medium sized room in friendly veggy household!

We have a cosy, fully furnished room for a lovely lodger to come and join our friendly, vegetarian household from the end of February..

We are looking for a short term lodger as we are hoping to move sometime this year, though there is nothing in the pipeline yet!

We are a female couple in our 40s and we live in a four-bedroom house with a garden in Loder Road Brighton, in the Preston Park area. (This is the North end of town) We live near a bus stop (on a route that goes to the Uni in the morning & back in the afternoon, and regular buses into town) and a big park. It is about a 25 minute, leisurely walk into town.

This lovely room has a comfy double bed, desk, clothes hanging space, storage and chest of drawers and would suit a full time working person or full time student, who goes out to work or study every day. One of us works from home, and so we are looking for someone who is (mostly) out of the house in the daytime)

We are happy to share meals but please note that our home is strictly vegetarian (no meat no fish) so would only suit you if you are veggie / vegan and /or prepared to live as part of a veggie household! We have had omnivores living here before and they have been happy to be veggie in the house.

You would be welcome to share our lounge, where there is a TV and DVD player, and we have broadband in the house, which is included in the rent, as are most other bills (excluding land line). We also have a Rec Room that we are happy to share by arrangement, where you can sit at a table and do crafty things, play board games etc!

We love playing outside! We have a camper van and often go away camping and travelling. We go to a lot of singing / choir events and festivals when we can, as well as live music. We are politically active and engaged in community issues and projects.

We work hard and can often be found binging on Netflix to wind down! We have recently enjoyed GLOW, Sense8, Stranger Things and The Good Place, to name a few...!
