Hi,
I'm looking to rent out a double bedroom (single occupancy only) in my house-please read the whole advert. (This is also listed on gumtree where you can always contact for free).
The room is at the top of the house and has hanging space , double bed with memory foam mattress, and other furniture available depending on what's required - there is space for a desk, chest of drawers, chair etc. The room is £750.00 per calendar month. There is a bathroom next door for exclusive use of the 2 occupants on the top floor where the bedroom is.
The house is in the Fiveways area which is very residential and peaceful. The room is at the front of the house - gets the morning sun and has a glimpse of the sea from the side window. The back of the house has great views over the school grounds towards the Downs. There are very good walks up to Hollingbury Hill Fort nearby, and also about a 5 minute walk to Preston park.
The area is well connected with lots of buses into town, and a 15 minute walk to either London Road/Preston Park stations.
If you have a car there is free parking after 8pm to 9am but it’s permit or pay and display in between. There are areas close by with no parking restrictions. There is also availability for parking permits.
The house is on 4 floors , downstairs is a good size kitchen/living area fitted with washing machine, cooker and hob, fridge freezer, table and chairs, plus all the pots, pans, plates , cutlery are provided.
I’d like a house guest who is a working professional, who is independent and can appreciate the balance between having their own space, and who might want to have a chat over a drink/food in the evening sometimes, but I’m equally happy if you want your own space and to do your own thing. I am quite an independent soul so would be good if you are too. A good fit for me will be someone who goes out to work fairly regular hours (not working from home), and is happy to be vegetarian while in my house.
I will consider some pets but not any large ones. Short term lets considered but room rate will be adjusted upwards.
The house is council tax band D.
Rent includes all bills - Council Tax, TV licence, Virgin broadband, gas, electricity and water. References and a deposit will be required.
