I'm looking to rent out the 2 double bedrooms (single occupancy only) in my house - available now.
The rooms are at the top of the house and both have hanging space or double wardrobe, chest of drawers, double bed with memory foam mattress, and other furniture available depending on what's required. The rooms are £750.00p and £700.00 (slightly smaller room) per calendar month. There is a bathroom next door for exclusive use of the 2 occupants. The front room has a glimpse of the sea, the back room has a great view over the valley.
The house is in the Fiveways area which is very residential and peaceful. The house has great views over the school grounds towards the Downs at the back, and has a steep sloping garden, also with views, - very private, and has a woodland feel despite being in town. The back garden has great views of the sunsets and is perfect for bar b q’s in the warmer weather.
The area is well connected with lots of buses (26,46,52,5b) into town, and a 15 minute walk to either London Road/Preston Park stations. Preston Park is a 5 minute walk.
If you have a car there is free parking after 8pm – 9am but it’s permit or pay and display in between. There are areas close by with no parking restrictions and parking permits are available.
The house is on 4 floors – downstairs is a good size kitchen/living area fitted with washing machine, cooker and hob, fridge freezer, table and chairs, plus all the pots, pans, plates , cutlery provided, and the floor below has the garden room with access to the back garden which gets the sun from the late morning onwards.
I am happy to consider your pet if you have one .
I’d like a house guest who is a working professional, who is independent and can appreciate the balance between having their own space, and who might want to have a chat over a drink/food in the evening sometimes, but I’m equally happy if they want their own space and to do their own thing. I am quite an independent soul so would be good if you are too. A good fit for me will be someone who goes out to work fairly regular hours (not working from home), and is happy to be vegetarian while in my house though that is not a deal breaker.
Short term lets considered.
The house is council tax band D.
Rent includes all bills - Council Tax, TV licence, Virgin broadband, gas, electricity and water. References and a deposit will be required.
