Double room in cute queer Coledean House

We are looking for a housemate to join our lovely queer house in Coledean. It’s spacious, with a split-level garden featuring decking, fruit trees, and plenty of space for growing. Downstairs there’s a kitchen/diner, living room, bedroom, and a loo/shower. Upstairs there’s another loo/shower and three bedrooms. PLEASE NOTE - the room available will be what is currently the living room (brighter, airier) it will come with a bed, chest of drawers, a wardrobe and a desk.

There are some big, uneven steps up to the house that can get slippery when wet, as well as internal stairs, so it may not suit someone with limited mobility.

We like to keep the house clean and tidy, with systems in place to share the load fairly. We’re nature-forward and use non-toxic/eco products. We’re planning to cultivate the garden, so a green-fingered housemate would be a bonus (garden / house maintenance is essential and we’ll all need to chip in a couple of hours a month)

This is a quiet, calm, creative home where we come to decompress. We enjoy hanging out sometimes (and having friends over here and there), but we’re not a party house, and we respect each other’s routines, sensitivities, and need for personal space. We value care, ease, and reciprocity, and are looking for housemates who do too. Kindness and clear, open communication are essential. No excessive drinkers, please.

Who you’ll be living with:

Imani (41) is a non-binary spatial designer and maker. They are autistic and into clean living and self-care. They eat meat but are particular about sourcing.
Josh (23) is trans, French, neurodivergent, works with horses, rides a motorbike, plays bass in a band, and is vegetarian.
Dannie (41) trans man, technician in Environmental Sciences at a uni. Plays drums in a band.
