Old Cottage on the edge of Ashdown Forest

The house is an old sandstone building with very large rooms. The old village store & post office, it is now just a much loved home. We are nestled in a dip on the edge of Ashdown Forest. Tunbridge Wells is the nearest town, a 10 mins drive, Lewes, 30 min and Brighton is a 40 min drive away. We initially would like to rent the room during the week but are open to you staying for the odd weekend if prior arrangements are made. Meals are available at an additional charge and vegetarians can be catered for. We have 2 cats, one very friendly and the other very shy. The train station is about 5 min drive away - but allow 10 min incase of delays. The house has 2 lounges with TV or a projector and screen so there is not a problem with space. Pubs and restuarants are a short walk away in the town as are a range of shops and supermarkets.
