Description
We have two rooms available in a quiet part of Friars Gate, nr Crowborough (Ashdown Forest). Near to Tunbridge Wells, Uckfield, Forest Row, train to London Bridge (every hour) (1hr journey) etc.
We are a young (30s) couple with a Cocker Spaniel, Lola. We are clean, tidy and respectful and are looking for the same in our lodgers. We will also be living here but you will have plenty of opportunity to have your own space in your own room or in either of the sitting rooms.
We work from home occasionally and would welcome you to do the same if needed for work. We are preferably looking for similar age group (late 20s to early 40s) but not essential.
Both bedrooms are quiet, comfortable and large enough to offer good storage space and a quiet working space if needed. There’s no road noise here, the only thing that wakes you up is the birds.
We are friendly and welcoming and you will always feel at home with us. We are into sport, gym, cycling, gardening and love dogs.
A dog would be welcome if well behaved and is able to stay downstairs and sleep in the Utility with Lola. This would come with a small additional cost and we would expect them to be clean and well walked (we can share walking duties).
Both rooms have a double bed, dresser with storage, an ensuite (or private bathroom), in a modern recently finished refurbishment project.
There is off-street parking here with space either on the driveway, down our quiet lane or in a near Ashdown car park if you enjoy a morning and evening walk.
A cupboard space will be provided in the kitchen as well as space in the fridge. You will have use of the facilities, air fryer, pans, utensils, TV etc. We keep things clean and tidy and would need the same in return.
All household bills are included (water, electric, superfast broadband). 1 months rent in advance which would also be considered a rolling deposit.
Ensuite bedroom available now, bedroom with private bathroom available end of April (first to see can choose).
We would like to welcome anyone interested for a viewing / chat beforehand to see the available spaces and discuss house rules.
