The house is on the West Hill, and is a 5-10min walk to Ore train station and 10-15min walk to Hastings train station, the beach, and the Old Town. It is a comfortable, spacious and bright four bedroom detached Edwardian house with garden and patio.
Your room has a superking sized bed, double door wardrobe, shelves, a desk, bedside table, chair and lamp.
There are two bathrooms, one with a large walk in shower, one with a bath.
There is a well equipped bright, modern kitchen with a separate utility room with washing machine and separate dryer, and a small pantry off the utility room.
The dining room has a dining table for 6-10, a wood burning stove and a comfy chair facing the back garden outside.
The living room has another wood burning stove, large L-shaped sofa and a comfy chair in the corner. There is no TV, but there is a projector, just plug in your device.
There is a separate study where I work. This space is not available for use.
There is a three tiered garden. The top tier has some plants and two hammocks, the middle tier is grass, the bottom tier is a patio with an outside sofa to relax on.
I’m a live in landlady, looking for people to join the current lodger & I. Ideally I’m looking for:
A professional in full time work that’s on site (not home workers).
Someone who enjoys a clean relaxed home.
No party people, we tend to be early birds rather than night owls.
Non smokers
Rent includes council tax, water, internet, and reasonable use of electricity and gas. It also includes a regular cleaner and some house essentials (bin bags, loo roll etc).
