The rooms are on the ground and first floors and all have double beds with a desk, wardrobe, chest of drawers and shelving. All kitted out with recently purchased neutral Ikea furnishings and laminate flooring. The house has 3 rooms upstairs and 2 rooms downstairs. Each room is furnished for a student and has a desk, shelving, an office chair and desk lighting.
The rental is a well-maintained Victorian house. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet, and there is also a separate toilet and washbasin next to the main bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with a washer, separate dryer, two fridges, a range-cooker, freezer and microwave. There are new carpets throughout, and the landlord stays on top of the maintenance.
About the housemates…it is intended as a mixed house. The current flatmate is a mature student studying at Brighton University. This house share is for students only, and would suit any postgraduates, mature students or final year undergraduates from Sussex, Brighton or BIMM. To stay in the house, you must have evidence of either being a current student or having a definite offer of a place for a full-time degree course.
The rent is £650 per calendar month, payable by direct debit. The deposit is £650 and is registered with a deposit protection scheme. Bills are extra, and more guidance on the amount will be given when you view the house. No council tax is payable, as everyone in the house is a full-time student.
The house is registered with Brighton Council as an HMO and has all the valid electrical, gas and EPC certificates.
