The attic rooms form a self-contained unit, giving you your own private space and plenty of independence, while sharing access to the house and garden.
I’m a retired charity director and former nurse, and now make stained glass in my garden studio. I’m a practising Buddhist and vegetarian, and I enjoy having a home that feels peaceful, welcoming and inclusive.
I have an elderly dog and a cat, plus two visiting dogs, so you’ll need to be happy around animals! 🐾 I also have a trans daughter who is an important part of my life, so being completely accepting and respectful of LGBTQ+ people is essential.
I’m looking for someone quiet, kind, considerate and respectful of shared space. I’m very relaxed about socialising — sometimes my lodger and I watch TV or have a meal together, but there’s no expectation. I like a balance of privacy and independence with the option of companionship when it feels natural.
I’m a welcoming person and would love to find someone who feels at home here rather than simply like a lodger.
