A furnished double room to rent in a recently fully refurbished second floor flat in Hove. Located 10 minutes walk away from both Aldrington and Portslade train stations, with regular links to London, Gatwick, Worthing and Brighton. Regular bus service runs to Brighton city centre. 15 minute walk to the beach. Various supermarkets, coffee shops and pubs located just a few minutes walk away on Portland Road. Really lovely community feel to the area, with access to shared communal gardens and community events.

Please be aware that this room would not be suited to anyone who works from home.

Parking is available in residents car park - You will need to apply for a parking permit. There is currently no waiting list but the cost for parking is not included in the rent (around £10/month).

The room: Furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside lamp, shelving unit with storage box inserts, desk and swivel chair. Room looks out onto shared communal garden. Excludes bedding.

The flat: Shared bathroom, kitchen with washing machine and very large living area with dining area and balcony. Kitchen and living areas are south facing so get a lot of light on a sunny day. Fibre broadband and Netflix included.

Am looking for a housemate who could also become a good friend and would enjoy socialising together, whilst also being considerate of each other's own space. Being a cat lover is also important as you’ll also be sharing the flat with a friendly feline. 🐱

About me: I work varying shifts in customer service in Brighton. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the outdoors - going on walks and paddle boarding/kayaking and cycling. Also enjoy my cosy nights in, playing boardgames and watching films. Am creative and enjoy painting, designing and photography and am currently working my way through a domestic electrician course. Can regularly be found exploring the many coffee shops of Brighton and Hove!

The flat is available to view from 9th August and available to move into from 27th August. It can be available earlier, if preferred, once the relevant credit checks and references are completed.
