Spacious double room overlooking garden

Hello!

I’m a screenwriter for documentaries and my boyfriend Adam is a game developer. We’re both friendly, love travel, food and animals and looking for a similar minded person to come live with us!

We’re looking for someone friendly to take the big, bright airy double room available in our tidy 2 ½ bed flat situated in Albany Villas. We rent the ½ room as an office space as I work from home.

The large double room is offered unfurnished, so you can make it completely your own. Although my current flatmate is looking to sell her nice bedroom furniture set (as pictured) if you’d like to take it and make her an offer. It’s got two built-in wardrobes and a large window overlooking the gardens giving you loads of gorgeous natural light.
Couples are more than welcome but the rent would increase to £600pm.

Bills aren’t included but they usually, with council tax and high-speed Wi-Fi included, come to about £80pm.

The current contract is for 6 months but could easily be extended. The letting is run through my landlords letting agent so there will be a deposit request and referencing.

The location is brilliant – less than a 5-minute walk from George Street and the bustling Church Road, a 10-minute walk to Hove station and less than 5 minutes’ walk to the beach!

We love socialising, and would be up for catching up for dinner and drinks, or watching films together but at the same time respect people wanting their own space and we’re looking for a like-minded person to come and make the flat their home! We’re totally fine with someone smoking just as long as it isn’t the flat itself. :)

We also have my lovely 10-year-old ginger labrador Roley who comes to visit for a few months in the winter – he’s a big sucker for cuddles and attention!
