Description
A bright, small double room available from late May or early June, in two-bedroom, second floor flat in Seven Dials area. It's a quiet side street, but with bars, cafes, etc all on the doorstep. A ten-minute walk to Brighton Station, fifteen minutes to Hove Station. St Ann's Well Gardens, a pleasant, wooded parkland area with tennis courts, is close-by. The beach is also just a fifteen-minute walk. A short walk to the Montefiore private hospital and Charter Medical Centre.
The bedroom has two Velux windows, fitted with blackout blinds. It is furnished with a wardrobe, large chest of drawers, and a standard double bed. There is storage space in the form of drawers under the bed, and shelves within the headboard. The flat also has a small loft space, where suitcases etc can be stored.
The living area is comfortable and cosily decorated, with four-seater table, large sofa-bed, and armchair. 55" TV and numerous plants.
The shared bathroom has a shower above the bath (with very good water pressure). Modern kitchen, with washing machine and a fitted dishwasher. The internal hallway has a shoe cupboard by the front door, and occasional chair.
All standard bills are included in the monthly rent: water, electricity, gas, council tax, fibre broadband, TV licence. Parking is on-street, permit (not included in the rent, of course), zone O. I believe there is not a waiting list for this zone.
Potential flatmates must be LGBTQ-friendly, clean and tidy, and considerate. I work shifts at varying times of the day and night, and so am careful not to disturb the sleep of others. Shift workers or 9-5ers are welcome.
I enjoy quiet time at home, sporadically host relaxed dinners or games evenings, spend quite a bit of time in the gym, and socialise with friends around the city. It would be nice to find a flatmate who would enjoy hanging out, maybe watching the odd film, and also sometimes sharing meals together.
