Large double room with ensuite - sunny with views

This is a lovely, large and sunny room with a private ensuite (shower and WC) at the top of our home near Poets Corner (king size bed). Your room is on its own floor so you have plenty of privacy. It enjoys far-reaching views on both sides of the room to the east and west, including sea glimpses. We share our kitchen diner. The sunny garden and deck are perfect for drinks or even sitting and working from home.

There is on-street free parking, and we are 2 minutes from Aldrington Station (seven minutes to Brighton) and a 10-minute walk from Hove station (direct to London). There is secure storage in the garage for a bike (or surfboards / SUPs etc).

We are looking for a female professional to share our home. You will be moving in with me and my labradoodle. My adult son is at university and is home in the holidays. I run my own business and work from home (in my home office). When I travel for work (about a week a month) my dog is looked after elsewhere and so you will have the house to yourself.

We are a friendly family and enjoy walking, running, cycling, sailing and swimming in the sea (which is a short walk down the hill). We're easygoing, sociable and love new adventures - including cycling, walking and sailing holidays.

Martha, the labradoodle, is a big ball of love. She doesn't shed, despite the fluff, and is considered a hypoallergenic dog. She loves people and walks. She will enjoy getting to know you.

We are a non-smoking house and largely (but not entirely) vegetarian. However, we're very easy going, so eat what you like.
