Double bedroom with own bathroom to rent in Hove

Hey everyone,

My name is Ryan, I’m a 34 year old nurse that has lived in Brighton for the past 15 years. I have a room to rent in my 2 bed flat on Portland Road, just next to Poets Corner. You’ll be sharing the house with myself, and Frank, a 10 year old golden lab who, obviously, also lives with me and is very friendly and great company to have around the house. I also have a girlfriend who is the same age as me and stays over quite frequently.

I own the house and have done for the past 4 years so any issues get fixed up pretty quickly as I like to keep the house in as good a condition as possible. The room itself is a double room and you have access to your own bathroom as I have my own upstairs in my room. The kitchen is fully stocked with most things you’d think to need and the front room has a big double sofa and arm chair + tv with all the steaming sites. There’s also a communal garden :)

I’m looking for someone who is clean and tidy, is happy to socialise around the house, is ok with my semi-erratic work hours (I work nights) and just generally pretty relaxed.

Rent is £800 and bills come to £200 (council tax band b, + amenities) - so the total is £1000 all in, which would be paid on the last day of the month to pay for the upcoming month.

Current move in date would be the 9th June as my current housemate is moving out on the 7th and the house will be professionally cleaned on the 8th.
