We are looking for a third person to join our lovely flat in Hove as our long term housemate is moving out.

The room is a large double and comes unfurnished. Located in central Hove, near the town hall. Close to George Street and big Tesco. Less than 10 minutes walk to the seafront and Hove station.

There is a shared living room, kitchen, and bathroom (shared between 2). Please note that the flat is on the second floor and there is no lift.

Tenancy starts on the 21st of December, move in date flexible after this date.

The tenancy contract is minimum 6 months and then 1 month rolling after that. We are looking for someone who is planning on sticking around for at least a year.

Council tax band B and parking zone N (currently no waiting list for a permit).

The rent is £533.33 a month, and the bills come to around £130 a month (may vary slightly).

A bit about us:

Livia – From Australia, moved over to the uk in 2019. I moved into the flat in 2021. Im an environmental consultant, often working long days, onsite, in the office and at home. I play afl (Australian football) with my team the swans, and have recently taken up running. I love reading, and spending time both in the flat and outside. I also enjoy a good trip to the pub.

Lottie – Originally from London, I moved to Brighton for uni back in 2016 and fell in love with the city. I am now working as a Graphic Designer in Hove, I am in the office at least 3 days a week but sometimes work from home. I love anything creative and crafty, love food and cooking, and I enjoy a good night out. I have lived in the house for 3 years.

We met through spare room, as we both moved in to the property after seeing an ad, and have become great friends. We both enjoy being sociable and spending time together cooking, watching TV (Supernatural is our current favourite), going shopping together, or playing Mario Kart, but we also value our privacy and individual space.

We are looking for someone who would love to live in a house with likeminded people, willing to spend some time together but also respecting each others space. We would like someone who is clean and keeps the communal areas tidy. Happy to have someone who does hybrid work, but would prefer if you don't work from home every day. Non-smoker.

Single person only, no couples. Happy for partners to visit or stay over.

Pets allowed if they are house trained and well behaved, unfortunately no cats though as Lottie is allergic. :'(
