Description
I will be travelling in January/February. This house is in a lovely area with four beautiful human beings and soon a cat called Harry.
Who we are:
We're a welcoming, respectful house, but we keep busy with work and life. We’re four friendly and considerate women aged 35-40. We all have our own work/life things going on, but we also enjoy eating, chatting or watching TV together now and then or going for walks to the beach. Our shared interests include live music/festivals, wellness (yoga/meditation/fitness) and learning languages. We are all sociable, but this isn’t a party house. We sometimes have friends to stay with, but everyone is thoughtful, and we always check in with each other before anything like this. I would love to find someone who can get on well with the group, but if you are more of an introverted type, that isn't a problem at all.
What is the room like:
I have the biggest room in the house. I chose this room because it has the best natural lighting and provides the best space. There is space downstairs to work, but I enjoy working or studying in front of the window. It's a lovely, cosy sanctuary. I put the room as furnished because I want to keep the bed where it is. If you would like me to move anything out, like the desk and wardrobes, I can do that for you.
What’s the location like:
The house is very close to the Hove shopping area of George Street, a 10-minute walk from Hove station and very close to bus links across the city. It is 10 minutes from a big Tesco supermarket and 15 minutes from a retail park with a TK Maxx and Lidl. There are lots of nice pubs in the area. The beach is a 10/15 minute walk, and the Hove seafront is beautiful and peaceful (amazing sunsets!). Central Brighton is about a 20-minute bus ride from the house.
How much does it cost:
Rent will be £725 per month.
Internet - £8.38
Council tax - £51.20
Gas & Electricity - £26.99
Half month rent needs to be paid to secure the room. The rest of the rent and bills need to be paid at the beginning of the month. Please let me know in advance how long you intend to stay. I'm happy to offer one-month minimum, 6 weeks, or 2 months.
