About the location:

The house is situated in the lovely Brunswick area, a mere 5-min walk from the seafront and a stone’s throw away from Brunswick Square. Large room and private bathroom to let in a modern, immaculate presented Mews home in Brunswick mews, within 3 minutes walk of Hove Lawns and the beach and 20 mins from Hove or Brighton stations.

Local shops include Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Coop and a few minutes’ walk away and many great cafes, pubs and restaurants all within walking distance. Alternatively, Central Brighton is within easy reach. Parking is available on the street outside.

Your gorgeous room is on the 1st floor and will come furnished (or can be unfurnished). It is 2.2m x 5.6m, spacious and light-filled with a view of your Juliette balcony and french doors to bring light in.

- extremely comfortable deep sprung mattress, double bed with ottoman storage, desk and chair, chest of drawers, full length mirror and hanging rail
- personal TV in your bedroom and very fast wifi (fibre)
- private bathroom with a shower, WC and sink
- some additional storage can be included in the mews garage e. g. for bike/ paddleboard, case/ storage boxes

About you:

I’m looking for someone with a friendly personality and similar lifestyle to me, someone who likes to do sports, has a steady job, enjoys a bit of social time, maybe watching a movie, listening to music and going to gigs, as well as someone who is happy to chat but values their own space and privacy.

I would like someone who is good at communicating, open and considerate. Ideally you also enjoy a clean and organised environment and would share household chores, or pay for this service. I am environmentally conscious to reduce waste and chemicals in the home. This is a smoke and vape free home.

💃About me:

I am a 55-year old professional working in Human Resources for a blue light organisation. I go in twice a week, and work from home for the rest of the week.

I love Brighton and Hove as well as travelling, although I am not away for long periods. I have some family visiting and by arrangement could allow that for you. My main hobbies are yoga, running, cycling, padel, sea swimming and rambling. I enjoy cooking simple but nutritious meals but I won’t be cooking every day.

💰 Rent:
- £895 month - this cost includes council tax and wifi
- Additional bills for electricity, gas and water (smart meter) will be split evenly

The house share cost is £1300 pm, however I am looking for £950 pm, with council tax and wifi is included. You’d be only sharing with me most of the time, on occasion my family visitors/ guests in the 3rd bedroom on the 2nd/ to floor.

📅 Available From: 5th January 2026 - for a few months or possibly longer, so would suit someone who is in a transitional phase and needs somewhere lovely mid term
