I’m looking for someone to take over my tenancy in a 2 bedroom flat share. This is perfect for someone looking for a longer term rental as the lease expires in April 2027 this provides a great deal of rental security, with a renewal option after this. Minimum stay is 6 months then 1 month notice after that.

This flat is part of a Discount Market Rent scheme to provide cheaper housing to key workers/ people on lower income, so applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a keyworker ie. working in health and social care, education/ childcare, emergency services
If not a key worker must be in receipt of disability benefits
Earn less than 32K per year
Have lived in brighton/hove for the past 3 years.

The flat is situated in Hove Gardens House, a lovely new build with 4 roof terraces including an amazing view of Brighton and Hove, an open plan lounge and work from home space. There is a great community feel in the building with regular social events and get-togethers such as book clubs, film nights, a gardening club and yoga.

About the flat:
The flat is on the 4th floor, there are 4 lifts in the building and a staircase.
Double bedroom with built in wardrobe and underbed storage. The room comes with a bedframe, double mattress and two side tables.
Alterations can be made to the room such as painting the walls and hanging pictures and putting up shelves, the tenant just needs to submit an altercations form to the building manager.

The building allows for small dogs and cats to be considered, for an additional pet fee of £50 per pet per month.
