Hello,
We are looking for a third flatmate to join our household at the end of this tenancy when our current flatmate moves out at the beginning of February.
As this is a tenancy swap, a new lease agreement will be formed and will then be updated to a rolling periodic tenancy from May in line with the new Renters Bill.
The room:
Double room with east-facing window
Unfurnished
£685 pcm (not incl bills)
Deposit amount – £865.33
The flat:
4th floor of a period building - no lift access
5 minute walk to Hove seafront
15 min walk from Hove station
Spacious light and airy
Large furnished living room with sofa bed and TV
Kitchen with breakfast bar - space for table and chairs
Washing machine and dishwasher
Large bathroom, including a shower over bath and bidet, shared with only one other (female) tenant
Downstairs entrance hall with coat storage
Bike storage on ground floor
Parking zone N
Council tax band C
Current housemates:
Steven: 31, works from home/the office in IT in the gaming industry. Loves cooking, comedy, live music gigs and exploring new local pubs/restaurants.
Anne: 33, works from home in the clinical trials industry. Loves hiking, raving, live music and nature.
We are both queer and neurodivergent and would prefer to live with someone who is kind, clean and understanding of this.
There is no expectation to cook/eat together, we generally tend to do our own thing but enjoy catching up over a few drinks at home or at the pub. It would be nice to be able to socialise as a flat 😊. We both eat meat/fish/animal products.
WFH preference – Ideally someone who works mainly outside of the flat/hybrid
Average bills cost - £130 each in winter on average, cheaper in spring/summer/autumn
Shared responsibility of bills (new tenant would take on council tax payments)
