[4 Weeks Short Let] Spacious Sunny House in Hove

A small well priced double room in house-share. Lovely spacious Victorian maisonette, by Hove cricket ground. Only a 1 minute walk to the Number 7 bus route. Only a close 10 minute walk to Hove station, the seafront, and Church road shops. 12 minutes walk to Seven Dials It’s a fantastic location!

The bedroom in question is my room (hi, I’m Olivia - the current lodger). I am only renting the room for a short period of time (18th February - 18th March 2026) whilst I head out on a trip to Costa Rica.

The room is lovely. It feels very private and cosy. It comes with a comfortable double bed with plenty of pillows, a large chest of drawers and clothing rail, a table at the end of the bed with plenty of space for books etc, and a work desk and chair fit with plenty of space. I’ll also be leaving all my lights in the room so feel free to enjoy the cosy nesting vibe I have created. Simon (the lovely landlord) has also provided an electric heater for the winter which makes the room feel extra cosy!

The house itself features a brand new spacious kitchen and a large cosy and sunny living room.

The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub. There is also a second convenient small toilet available on the 2nd floor. Washing machine and dryer also included.

All bills included and fast WiFi for those who work from home. I also have a speed booster in the room.

Simon, the live in landlord is a lovely 60 year old retired drama teacher, now an actor and gardener. He is truly one of the most friendly, approachable and welcoming people I’ve ever met, as is his partner Elaine who is occasionally over to visit.

The other holdover is a kind and quiet Spanish man who is always very sweet. He works nights as a hotel concierge so you will rarely see him but when you do it’s always pleasant.

Occasionally, my landlord has his lovely Labradoodle - Martha, he and his wife take turns looking after her. She will be around from Feb 28th for a few weeks. She is very sweet and loves belly rubs!
