Description
Hi!
I have a room to let just off Church Road in Hove. It is a 5 minute walk from the sea, and a 10 minute walk from Hove station, which has a train running to London Victoria, making it ideal for communters. The 3X bus also runs from Hove station, which takes you to the Moulsecoomb campus in about 20 min. The flat is also a 5 minute walk from a big Tesco, and just beside George Street, where there are lots of shops, including many charity shops, Waterstones, Boots, and etc.
The room itself is lovely, it gets lots of sun and is spacious. The room comes furnished, with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bed, bedside table, and a desk with a chair. You will have your own large bathroom situated on the first floor, with a large shower, bathtub, two sinks, storage, and of course a toilet. The bathroom is also just beside the washer, and has plenty of room for hanging laundry.
The flat has a large open kitchen with living and dining room, which would be shared. There is also a study, that I would be occupying, which doubles as a guest room, which you would be more than welcome to use for guests staying over. I also have a really nice coffee machine, you would be welcome to use.
About me: I am 20 years old, studying Philosophy, Politics, and Ethics at University of Brighton. I come from Copenhagen, but moved to Brighton in September 2025 to study in Brighton. In my free time I mostly read, crochet, bake (happy to share), go on walks, and hang out with friends. During semesters, I am at uni about 3 days a week. I am a tidy person, that values a tidy and quiet flat most of the time. My friends would describe me as: happy, a bit introverted but extroverted with the right people, easy going, mature, and respectful.
Utilities are not included, but would be around 100-120 pounds extra a month per person depending on use. Council tax is about 150 per month extra.
Please let me know if you have any questions! Happy to send more photos. If you are interested in the flat, I would gladly host an in-person meeting to show the flat.
Move in would be after September 21st, as that is when my current flatmate moves out.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
