Spacious double room to let in Hove family house

Room to let in a relaxed and friendly family house in Hove near Poet’s Corner. We are a couple with a 17 year old daughter (currently at 6th form) and two cats.

The house is a 3 story terraced Edwardian house and is attractively decorated (well we think so anyway…). You would have use of the kitchen, breakfast room and a modern family bathroom with bath/shower with separate WC. The shower is hot and powerful. There is 150 Mb broadband throughout the house, and you’d have access to netflix if you have a computer. There is double glazing and GCH throughout and we often have the woodburner on in the evening so the house is always cosy. There is also a patio garden for the warmer months.

The room has just been decorated and looks out onto the garden. It is a good sized double with built in stripped pine double wardrobe, a double bed with a brand new memory foam mattress, and original cast iron fireplace. We are currently looking for a nice table and some shelving which should be in place before anyone moves in.

The location is north of Poet’s Corner. Hove Station is a 10 minute walk. The sea is 15 minutes. We are close to Church Street for really good restaurants/bars etc although there are reasonable ones within a few minutes. Buses to Brighton are 2 minutes away (5/5a/5b).

There is unrestricted parking the other side of Old Shoreham Road (5-7 minute walk). Directly outside we are in zone R which is metered or you can obtain a permit £120/year from the council. Unless things have changed in the past 6 months there is no waiting list for Zone R and there is almost always space available right in front of the house.

Rent is £525 per month inclusive of all bills except landline.
A deposit will be required.
